"The Cave Dwellers"
I had just entered a dark cave. It took awhile for my eyes to adjust. Even then it was very dark. I could make out the figures of my daughter, her husband and toddler son. Her son clung to her leg. I offered to help them find their way outside. My daughter declined my help. She said they felt safer there. I wanted to help my grandson. But he was part of their family. I pleaded with my son-in-law to at least light his cigarette lighter so they could better see where they are. He said he didn't want to waste the fuel because he needed it to light his cigarette. There was nothing I could do so I found my way out easily. It was a beautiful day, very sunny and breezy. I could feel the warmth of the air on my face.
Interpretation:
I can't help the people I care about make positive changes in their lives when they're perfectly satisfied with what they have and don't want to make any changes. This dream showed me that, rather than focus on bringing my reluctant loved ones out of their darkness, I should go on with my life and enjoy the warmth and the beauty of the day.
